RESILIENT REGIONS ASSOCIATION IS A NEUTRAL ARENA where the business sector, academia, municipalities and government agencies meet to solve regional challenges. Together we build a more resilient society with robust functions and flows – a society with the ability to quickly overcome and recover from societal pressures.
We believe that the functionality of a city and region depends on a system of flows. We have identified six urban flows:
GOODS, SERVICES, PEOPLE, MONEY, ENERGY & INFORMATION.
To secure functionality, regardless of events, these urban flows must work. Attractiveness and effectiveness has great impact on our choice where we settle down and where businesses choose to establish and invest.
A city and region's attractiveness is dependent on how well, sustainable, and how smart these six flows function.
